Web Based Server Control Panel

The Web Based Control Panel included with the Virtual ISP is a very powerful interface that allows you to perform advanced management tasks using a web browser. More features are available to you with the Virtual ISP control panel than with our entry level semi-dedicated server included with the Web Designer Package's control panel. You have the ability to add / delete / modify user accounts and passwords. Set Disk Quotas on a per user basis. Also you can set the type of account each user has. You can grant e-mail only or any combination of FTP, Telnet, even access to GCC the GNU C compiler. You can also make changes to your e-mail server configuration (add / delete / modify domains and aliases) as well as make changes to your Apache web server configuration (add / delete / modify virtual hosts)

PHP Support

PHP is a very powerful tool that lets you create dynamic web pages. Internet browsers read PHP-enabled web pages just like regular HTML pages and you can create and edit them the same way you create regular HTML pages. In an HTML document, PHP script (similar syntax to that of Perl or C) is enclosed within special PHP tags. CGI / Perl Script Installation

Due to the nature of CGI and Perl programming, some scripts are much more complex than others. We have a library of scripts that we are familiar and comfortable working with. You can install any script from this library at no charge. If you would like for us to install and configure it for you, there is a small service charge of $25. The only exception to this is Formmail, which comes pre-installed on both WebDesigner and Virtual ISP servers.
